5769 years have passed since the creation of the world. During this time-span, the world has seen its fair share of ups and downs, wars and victories, great miracles and horrible disasters. All of these fluctuations and instability exist for the singular purpose of creating a perfected world. A world that is ready for a true and final redemption.
The Lubavitcher Rebbe declared many times that our generation will merit to see this final redemption! - It is only incumbent upon us to prepare ourselves and our surroundings for the coming of Moshiach. But how do we prepare ourselves and our environment? By using all the means and tools that are at our disposal to reach out to each and every Jew.
Thousands of Jews reside in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Flatbush. Over 50% are impressionable young adults. From that tremendous number, only a small percent lead lives that are in accordance with the Torah and Mitzvot. The question is, what are we doing to help the many others who have not yet been exposed to the fundamentals of Judaism?
Remedying this dilemma Chabad of Flatbush has custom built a Synagogue-on-Wheels (Mitzvah Tank) that reaches out to all these unaffiliated Jews. The Mitzvah Tank plays a vital role in the many services that we offer. It is a Information Center as well as Jewish and Youth Service Center.
Please join us and support this amazing venture.
Chabad of Flatbush is now offering you the singular opportunity to join us in this amazing Mitzvah Tank campaign.
You can donate in honor of a birthday or in the merit of someone who has passed on. The latter will receive a permanent remembrance plaque aboard the Mitzvah Tank.
All contributors will receive an honorary certificate displaying their dedication to this wonderful campaign.
Donations do not have to be paid in full and can be spread over a period of months.

A quick thought on the week’s Torah portion? How to celebrate Purim? What is a Mezuzah? A tour of Crown Heights? A letter in the Torah? Aboard the Tank all of this information is readily available in the form of weekly newsletters and seasonal publications. We also carry on board, detailed information on the “Ten Mitzvah Campaigns” that the Rebbe strongly encourages.
Price: $1,000
One of the Tanks core purposes is its Library of Judaism. The Library is special, because it has the ability to turn a one-time encounter into a continuing and sustained association that can affect entire families. The Library offers story books for children, as well as thought-provoking and meditative books for adults.
Price: $1,800 (Each bookcase)

Naturally, one of our most important campaigns is the Tefillin laying drive for eligible men (men who have had their Bar Mitzvah). We have installed a stunning marble tabletop on the Tank just for this purpose. Sponsoring us, even for a single day, will give you the merit of this holy work.
Price: $1,000

A serious and meaningful conversation in middle of the street, go figure!? Imagine yourself walking down the street and someone starts engaging you in a serious dialogue, would you stop and give him the time of day? You would probably just ignore him. If he took his street evangelizing a step further, and tried starting a serious study session with you, you would most likely write him off as downright loony!
Our “Mitzvah Tank” has done away with this perception of a street dialogue and made such interactions, normal, and (we dare say) interesting.
The Torah classes aboard the Tank, give every Jew the opportunity to learn and recognize the beautiful inner world of Torah. Especially those who are uninterested or otherwise fearful of entering a synagogue.
